EPS SMART BUILDERS

Project – Residence at Palarivattom, Kochi

1. Renovation & Demolition

This project began as a renovation, where nearly 75% of the existing structure was carefully demolished to redesign the space with a modern layout and improved functionality.

2. EPS Structural Construction

The new structure was developed using advanced EPS panel technology, enabling faster construction with reduced structural load. Additional features like a home theatre and swimming pool were integrated into the design. EPS panels provide excellent sound insulation, making them ideal for theatre spaces, along with superior thermal comfort, ensuring faster cooling and reduced energy loss. EPS technology was also utilized for constructing water-related elements such as tanks and utility structures.

3. MEP Integration

All Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services were efficiently planned and fully concealed within walls, floors, and ceilings, ensuring a clean finish without compromising accessibility or performance.

A modern shotcrete technique was used, where concrete is applied using a machine, ensuring faster application, better bonding, and improved structural strength compared to conventional methods.
